Excellent Monitor/Camera!,
This camera is much cheaper than Summer Infant’s price ($120). We bought the monitor and camera package for our newborn and decided we needed another camera for our toddler since the monitor can be connected to 4 cameras at one time. The camera is wonderful! I love the fact that I can follow my toddler around in her room when she gets out of bed (and is supposed to be asleep) and that you can zoom in. The night vision is great and you can clearly see everything. We’re thinking of getting a third camera for the play room. The only caveat is that the monitor needs to be recharged regularly but other than that it’s the best monitor/camera I’ve seen.

|Dependable performer. Just one beef.,
This item is a real workhorse, but my one complaint is that it does not hold the image on the screen for more than a couple of minutes when just on battery. And, the battery seems to lose its life too quickly. You have to keep hitting the button to refresh the screen. So make sure you have a plug nearby. The other thing is that it would be nice to have one additional zoom setting. I understand that it’s probably a cost issue, but you’d think with today’s technology, they could make it happen. Otherwise, it has worked well for the year + we’ve had it.

|Great Monitor for the Price,
We have this camera with the monitor and have bought a second camera for Baby #2′s room. We are very happy with this set. We can clearly see that our toddler is safely asleep in bed. We can also see that our newborn is safely asleep in his crib. We also use the pan motion on this so we can check on our daughter as she quietly plays in her room…making sure she is staying out of trouble!!! This is a great monitor/camera system. When our daughter was a baby she was a cryer at night…We never knew what was wrong so we would have to run in and get her- since we bought the monitor we no longer have to jump at every sound…we simply turn on the monitor and view what she is doing. Half the time she is just re positioning- and not actually in need of us going in to get her!
