I tried two brands of pacifiers for our son … Avent and MAM. The Avent blows away the MAM, the Avent is much softer. I also like that the Avent is crystal clear (so you can see if there’s any gunk hidden inside the bulb) and super easy to clean. I also love that it has the little handle to connect a strap to it. They also offer a good variety from clear, to simple translucent colors, to cute little characters.
BTW, those Velcro or clip straps are only good until they figure out they can rip them right off. The better straps to go with are the ones with the snaps – my boy is super strong but he can’t get those off. They also come two to a package, are inexpensive and come in a variety of colors. I highly recommend them. Wish I had gotten them earlier on instead of wasting money on the other straps that now just sit in a drawer. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003Y3BGYE/ref=oss_product

Picture depicted 4 pacifiers. Similar products depicted accurate number of items included. I was disappointed to receive a 2 pack when compared to other products. I feel this was a deceptive practice by Amazon

|perfect step up pacifier,
Up until recently we’d been using our infant soothies, but needed to really move on to a pacifier for older babies. My almost 10 month old loves these. They’re great because they don’t stick to the face causing a huge rash when the baby is teething. They’re also nice because they rotate 360 degrees making it easy for the baby to turn and play with. It’s the perfect step up from the Soothie.
