Please note: This camera can only be used in conjunction with the original DXR-5 Infant Optics Wireless Monitoring System. This add-on camera will not work with any other baby monitor brands. Cycle through different camera views by pressing the 'channel' button on your monitor unit. Your existing DXR-5 baby monitor kit can be expanded to up to 4 camera units (3 add-on cameras). 1 camera unit can not be paired with 2 or more monitor units. Sets up in minutes. These cameras were a great addition to the original startup kit. It took use let than 3 minutes to set up and it worked right away. We have 3 cameras setup now and we have every corner of our house, one in our bedroom, one in the playroom, and one in living room. I’m glad there were no interference issues having so many wireless cams set up in such a small place!

We bought this add-on camera with the monitor so now we have 2 cameras. I work at home and this monitor has helped me alot giving me the reassurance to focus on my work. Having 2 cameras instead of the 1 makes it easier because I do not need to move the camera around now (my son’s room at night, the living during the day…) I just keep the two cameras in the same spot and cycle through the channels on the monitor to see either views on the cameras.

One monitor can be paired up to 4 add-on cams, but unforunately one single add-on cam can NOT be paired to two monitors. It would be nice if it could be done so my husband could see the same cameras too.

This camera was added onto my one camera system that I bought at the same time. I do not like that the monitor does not voice activate to either camera, just the channel you are currently on. I was also bummed that there was no stand to angle the camera down like with the main system.
