Good toy for baby – not perfect for Mommy!,
This phone is just fine. It meet the basic criteria – durable, safe, educational, fun, takes my 8 month olds mind off my cell phone or the remote control for a while!! My only complaint, as a Mom, is that I wish it had an on/off switch. It makes noise when she flips it open or pushed buttons – thats great – BUT….sometimes you are in a location when you dont want it to make noise – lets say church. So its not the end of the world – we have other quiet toys – but that would be a great enhancement on the phone. I assumed it woud have it since most toys we have do have an on/off for the noise feature. Other toy phones do as I have seen them! I paid extra for the pink phone – which really wasnt neccessary!

This was a gift for my granddaughter (16 months) and although it is cute, she still steals real cell phones which are much more fun. Oh well, worth a try.

i have a boy but i got him this one because it looked durable and inexpensive, a great method to trial an item for my 7 month old child. this is a real bargain deal. i dont care if it is pink, but if they offered a blue version i’d have gotten it. i love how easy it is to press keys and get back to the ‘beep’ ringing and ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye’ words, which he loves. it makes it so easy to pretend the phone is ringing and it is for my baby, who smiles happily each time we go through the game that the phone call is really for him. it doesnt save my own phone but it does give him a terrific toy to play with instead of other, bulkier ones. i like to take it out with us in case he might have a bad moment and need something to distract him.overall good price and great toy.
