We were going to purchase a video monitor for our baby, but we chose this one because it detects movement. With the video monitors you can see your baby, but you’d have to be looking at your baby to make sure he/she is still breathing, and when you’re asleep, you’re obviously not going to do that. We bought this just to give us peace of mind and I am SOOOOOO happy we did. Our daughter sleeps in her crib in her own room now. A couple nights ago she stopped breathing. The alarm went off and we of course rushed in her room and got her. She’s ok. She sleeps on her belly and sometimes she doesn’t have enough energy or strength to move her head from one side to the other so she stops and sleeps on her face, which caused her to stop breathing. Had it not been for this monitor, my daughter could be…well you know but I just can’t say it. I am sooooo thankful we chose this monitor. It literally saved my daughter’s life. I recommend this monitor to EVERYONE!!!!
